Finding Jesus in the Hardest Season

In 2025, my world changed forever.
My one-year-old puppy, Micah, passed away after a long and heartbreaking battle with congenital health issues. He wasn’t “just a dog” — he was my child, my comfort, my constant companion. Losing him left me completely broken.

In that season of grief, there was only one place I could turn for peace.

Jesus.

Through prayer, scripture, and quiet moments of surrender, I found a calm that nothing else could provide. I began surrounding myself with gentle visual reminders of Christ — images that spoke without words, that brought stillness when my heart felt overwhelmed.

That is where this artwork began.
